As EVP of Marketing, Alex is responsible for all of marketing for BENlabs portfolio of services within our AI business inclusive of influencer and creator services, product placement, music licensing and content optimization with tubebuddy.
Alex shares extensive marketing experience as a brand, acquisition, and growth marketing leader. He empowers a collaborative, no-BS environment where, with the right magic, the team is greater than the sum of its parts. Alex believes in being world-class because intrinsically it’s the best way to connect individual and company interests.
Previously, Alex held the role of Global Head of Performance Marketing and Strategic Partnerships at Bloomberg, launching all performance driven marketing for their first consumer business. Results speak for themselves as under Alex’s leadership, sales grew from $2M to $100M while subscriber CPAs decreased by 300%!
Prior to Bloomberg, Alex worked at Verizon as Head of Sports Marketing which lead to sponsorship agreements with NFL, BEIN Sports and FC Barcelona and external talent such as Lebron James and Rob Gronkowsky; He also led all multicultural marketing and go to market for the northeast region of Verizon, where he launched new pricing plans, devices such as the iPhone 6 and overhauled all messaging and positioning for hispanic and asian american audiences.
Other experiences include product management at AIG, consulting/entrepreneurship through his own marketing agency and working at Lean Startup Machine from seed until their raise of a Series A investment.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy as well an MBA in international marketing from New York University.
When not at BENlabs, Alex dabbles on the latest episode of the bachelor, spends time with his daughter and teaches merengue lessons to elderly individuals.
