Ted Sheffield is BENlabs’ Chief Operations Officer and General Counsel. After receiving his B.A. from Pomona College and J.D. from Duke University, Ted returned home to Seattle to practice law with the Lane Powell law firm. In 2011, Ted joined BENlabs’ predecessor company, Corbis, as in-house counsel, where he managed the sale of Corbis’s image licensing business and the transition to BENlabs. Ted relocated to Los Angeles in 2018 where he lives today with his wife and two children. Outside the office, Ted can most often be found cheering on his kids at baseball and gymnastics, training for his next marathon, and enjoying the latest addition to his vinyl record collection.
